Join Our Team as an Experienced Tax Preparer/Office Manager – Mudgee Office (Sydney 3 District)

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Experienced Tax Preparer/Office Manager to lead our medium-sized, year-round Mudgee office, which prepares approximately 1,000 tax returns annually.

As Experienced Tax Preparer/Office Manager, you will:

  • Leverage your tax preparation expertise to oversee and optimize office operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a dynamic team to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Deliver exceptional service by assisting clients with their individual and business tax needs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay ahead in the industry.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
  • Demonstrated success in previous roles at H&R Block.
  • Strong understanding of H&R Block’s procedures and systems.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding service to both clients and staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to attend training sessions and meetings as required.
  • No current employment with any other tax accountant that could create a conflict of interest.
  • A smartphone capable of accessing the MyID system.
