H&R Block is looking for an experienced income tax specialist, with leadership experience, to fill the role of District Operations Coordinator in the Perth 2 District.

Job description:

The District Operations Coordinator (DOC) is responsible for supporting the District Manager with administration, operations & key retail readiness throughout the year. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing individual tax returns for H&R Block clients in offices within the district
  • Guiding and supporting Office Managers in staff rostering
  • Coordinating our Income Tax Course within your district
  • Supporting the District Manager with recruitment administration, reviewing applications and following up employee documents to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Managing escalated client queries
  • Coaching staff on administrative procedures

Please note, this role will involve travel throughout the district, which includes regional areas within the Perth 2 District.

Essential skills and requirements:

  • At least 2 years recent experience preparing individual income tax returns for clients.
  • Management experience (Office Manager or before your time at H&R Block)
  • Must have a current driver’s license, access to a car and be able to travel to visit offices in your District
  • Must be flexible with regards work times to support offices as required
